We in Golf Irland^Plus are a small entity operating in a niche area in a niche market, concentrating as we do on the quality golf holiday market in Ireland, and then mainly on the 'Links' golf, and for this reason you may not have heard of us. We also do not have the' big splash' exposure of some of our worthy colleagues in this business, nor do we want to, because we wish to be able to continue to deliver in the quality and approachable way to all of our clients ,whether individual, group, corporate or incentive ...... as we have done up to now....... getting bigger may well not be compatible with this quality of service.

• But, small though we may be, we do have, not only the organisational but also the buying power of our partners who are major players in the holiday market into Ireland, so that our prices consequently remain highly competitive.

• We are passionate golfers ourselves , so we know what a golfer on holiday wants from his/her golf,...but we have to admit we feel that the really special thing about golf in Ireland are the Links courses , of which there are 40 in Ireland - there are only 160 altogether in the world,- and 5 of those in Ireland are rated in the Top 100 courses of any type world-wide, according to the American Golf Writers of America (1995/6). But we do also have magnificent modern Parkland courses that meet the required high standards of any International golfer.

• We use the charming friendly, relaxing Country House Hotels, The 'Hidden Houses/Homes' as well as The Grand Castles for accommodation ... all star quality, personally checked out, ........ because we know what the golfer wants from his/her accommodation after a days golf. Three of the top 50 hotels of the world are in Ireland.(American Travel Industry).

• We combine these, if you wish, with 'Simply Delicious' restaurants where one can enjoy simple foods or grand foods, served with warmth and ease, to satiate the hunger you so luxuriously develop with the special clear fresh air you experience on a days golf on an Irish golf course.

• We are flexible enough to be able to include other events in your programme such as a day at the Horse Races, at a Football or Hurling game (our National Sports), or even a days Sailing , an evening at the Concert Hall ..... or anything else you may wish.... hence the 'PLUS' in our company name.

• For the travelling non- golfer there is the breathtaking scenery, horse-riding on long sandy beaches, historical sites to visit, land & seascapes to admire or paint, visits to some of the Gardens of Ireland and much, much more besides....
